Friday the house was HOT!
In builders terms, this means We Have POWER!!!
We were like little kids playing with the light switches.
Flip them on...
Flip them off...
One turns on the fan...
One turns on the fan light...
One turns on the can lights...
One turns on the porch lights...
These are the porch lights.
They were installed Friday, as well.
We walked into the bedrooms...
Flipping switches...
One switch operates the fan...
One switch operates the fan light...
The entire evening was like Thomas Edison discovering electricity!
The chandelier over the island was also installed.
As was the dining room lighting.
Both having significant meaning to Flower Boy and myself.
The island lighting is made of mason jars because of this past post.
The dining room light speaks for itself.
Yes, those are pistols, horse shoes and stars...
AND barbed wire.
We are excited to no longer have extension cords running throughout the house.
It was nice to be able to work in the house this weekend with overhead light instead of dragging around the work lights.
By Friday evening,
Every Light In The House Was ON!
