  1. Ranch Girl,

Lil Pig looks like fun! Our Border Collie puppy was weaned and brought home in late October. Puppies are fun, but a lot of work. Glad you have spring weather to potty train in.

Wow that is a lot of eggs. You must have quite the coop full of hens. I have 16 hens. Some are very old and some are 2ish. I am getting 8 eggs a day.

I hope you never loose an animal with those tags.

Good Luck catching up with skirt work.

    1. Robin,
Skirt Work is never done for us Rancher Girls. I would prefer to be outside rather than in.
Lil Pig is so much fun! He was the only one of the litter. Along with the cattle, we also breed and raise German Shepherds. We keep the pups to 10 weeks of age before allowing them into their new homes. We make sure the pups have 2 sets of shots, wormings, are fully weaned from momma and transitioned to eating dry food, are potty trained, crate trained and simple obedience started. We do our best to take the "puppy" out of our puppies. HAHA! We don't want them to get to their new homes and then end up in a shelter because their family can't handle them. It is going to be very hard to let go of Lil Pig!
As for the eggs, Drewman has an egg business. It is his FFA SAE. He has done well and has built a great customer base. He has delivery routes to our local town and I bring eggs to work one day per week for pickup. I'm not sure I will be able to keep up when he moves away to college next year.
Lastly, I am in love with those ear tags! Flower Boy ordered them before Drewman and I left on our mission trip. I was so surprised to see them arrive so quickly.
